เว็บไซต์ mantleplume.org ได้ทำการรวบรวมงานตีพิมพ์ในตำนานที่เป็นพื้นฐานของการเรียนรู้ทางธรณีวิทยา (Foundations of Earth Science: The top 100 plubications) ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจในพื้นฐานทฤษฎีวิชาธรณีต่างๆ รวมถึงที่มาที่ไปของทฤษฎี และแนวคิดของนักธรณีวิทยาในอดีต ตอนนี้มี 69 ผลงาน และกำลังจะเพิ่มเติมจนครบ 100 ผลงานในเร็วๆ นี้
